1. The Celebrating Strides competition commences on 30th October 2009 and ends on 30th April 2010
(the “promotion period”).
2. This competition is open to all residents of the Republic of South Africa except the employees of Brandhouse Beverages (Pty) Ltd (the “Promoter”), trading as brandhouse, or employees of companies with shareholdings in the Promoter, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies, media and PR agencies, as well as the family members, consultants, directors, associates and trading partners of such organizations and persons.
3. All participants must be 18 years of age or older at the date of entry and may be required to exhibit valid identity documents as proof thereof.
4. To enter and stand a chance to win, a consumer must register to vote on-line at www.johnniewalker.co.za for the competition and vote for one nominee within each of the four categories (Design, Business, the Arts and Environment) and will be entered into draw to win one set of Jenna Clifford cufflinks. One set of cufflinks will be given away per month there are a total of six sets of cufflinks that can be won during the promotion period.
5. The draw will take place at the end of the promotion period and be announced on the 17th May 2010. Winners will be notified telephonically and prizes will be couriered to the address given by the winner.
6. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
7. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value at any time and for any reason.
8. Neither Brandhouse Beverages (Pty) Ltd. trading as Brandhouse, and their respective advertising, media and PR agencies, nor their trading partners shall be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or costs, howsoever arising, suffered by a participant in this promotion.
9. The participant may be required to take part in publicity and participation in the promotion is conditional upon agreement to take part in such publicity. Participants will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for any such publicity or otherwise. All and any materials, including publicity materials, will be the sole property of the Promoter.
10. The promoter reserves the right to terminate, temporary suspend or amend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control or technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity.
11. Under no circumstances shall the promoter be liable to anyone who participate in this promotion for any indirect or consequential loss howsoever arising which may be suffered in relation to the promotion, whether as a result of any negligent act or omission or any default on the part of the promoter or otherwise.
12. The laws of South Africa govern these terms & conditions and participants agree to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
